What do you think of these Dainichi Kohaku

Posting pics for Michael San..

Its a tosai kohaku from Dainichi that I think stands out from my other ones because the Hi is really deep in colorr compared to the others,

comments good or bad and please be honest??

Really deep beni and super shiroji, which Dainichi is known for. The pattern is so-so, I dont care much for the menkaburi pattern, but other wise a great overall fish.

Stan at that size, especially in Dainichi tosai it is pretty much even across the board when it comes to saying it looks male or female. You could probably tell at age 2 years(nisai). I want to test how a True Sensuke Kohak(Dainichi, SSF) does under a BS/BH environment. Has any of our Asian counterparts tried this yet?

I would love to have all of them to play with. They all look great to me. I hope you will post some pictures as time goes on with them. Also if you cull any out, take some pictures and tell us why.

I like that showa a lot.

Hi Tom

I have 8 of them and will probably end up keeping them all depending on how they turn out. I will keep you updated on them.

Are there any traits with regards to the sumi on dainichi koi?, e.g what age would they be when the sumi fully develops or does it vary on individual koi

thanks
michael
