How many ponds have you had

It seem like a lot of use have had a few ponds over the years. I was wondering how many ponds everyone has had.

I'm on my third and last one at this house.

Well, I have 3 ponds and each is in the third version in the same place.... but only one is a koi pond. Other 2 are puddles for goldfish and guppies.

We had the same experience as Mike M... 4 Koi ponds, 2 ea. in the same place but expanded to present state... In addition have 11 other water features from, 5, 2' square Tsukubais (Japanese basins with bamboo water spouts) at all doors and garden entrances (need all the blessings we can get), 1, 8' diameter lily pond and 4, 2x4 lily ponds in front court yard...plus 1 150 gallon guppy pond in the backyard. Will be building another 6' square lily pond on side courtyard, if I can sneak it by the wife, have to figure easy way to build it while she's at work...

Courtyards: Sounds grand huh...actually all ponds are on a very small 6k sq. ft. lot in a blue collar neighborhood... With the last lily pond have run out of space to build...

Aloha! Mike

When I moved into this house it had a bity pond, and the one I have now is the replacement. No more ponds in the works here until I move, I think.

Am in the process of building my first for koi - have a little puddle for lillies in the backyard. The HOA strictly forbids any outdoor water features (whoops! built the lilly pond before I got a copy of the rules) so I'm forced to move indoor and keep a few koi in something most folks would call their QT tank. Already making plans to sell the house.

Mike T, do you have any pics of your tsukubai? I nearly gave in to the temptation to buy an awesome granite lotus basin at the Atlanta show.

Got one pond, pretty old..built it in 1988...kinda of junky if you ask me...The Dry-lock is almost completely flaked off...Raise 1 Young Champion in it, 1 Mature, 3 friendship winners and countless best in Size and first placers...Wow in my dreams...Anyways, I plan on building something bigger...but that is in the near future...

The pond I'm currently using is my second one. I also have a 15 ton quarantine pond.
