Does it matter what judge judges your fish?

Under what eye would you perfer to judge your fish? Japanese , UK, American or Any ZNA judges...

Ofcourse it does; while there are the accepted standards, judging is very subjective and different 'eyes' along with different tastes influence decissions.

Can one pick all of the above?? And then to have an after show presentation about the koi to learn from....Small group to just them and and the owners for honest feedback and "to the point" answers...

good question, let's just say I tailor what I bring out based to "who's" judging. Keep in mind that it's not (an exact) science. It's "art" appreciation .

If I wrote a musical arrangement I would prefer a critique from Tchaikovsky rather than Lawrence Welk.

I'd like a Japanese Judge Pweese....cuz i like a big ol fat honkin' koi.
(That is a serious answer. I love big meaty fish....not the baseball bats. That being said, i like a pattern TOO.)
