Brian, when is the next issue due out?

I have extended the subscription drive for 2 more weeks. We are at 33 thus far I believe and I would like to get it to 50 or better to support you and the magazine.

Next issue is a commerative one on this year's All-Japan combined. An interview with Maruyama, and article on Japanese garden ponds, and an article on Sanke, a little more as well. Should be thicker than previous issues, not sure by how much. Layout & design is being contracted out now to a professional company, so they may be able to pack more text in than I've been able to.

Is there anyway, to get some extra protective plastics like the one you sent issue #9 out in?

Tony,

You shouldn't ask publicly as then EVERYONE will want more! I think that most comic book stores would carry A4 size plastic covers like these.

The Maruyama interview could be very special. I'm hoping the discussion of their Hi genetic pool goes beyond the surface comments about Kagura Beni usually seen. .... you can stretch that far, Brian.
