Thanks Mike, for sharing the information. We had heard rumors and prayed it was not true.

Very Sad news indeed Mike, Responsible of Momotaro to come out in public.. I wish Momotaro and staff a quick recovery..

Been keeping up on things and have not heard any reports of KHV in Niigata as well..

Indeed... my heart goes out to Momotaro. Just a reminder, we can help by donating out time, efforts, and money toward the KHV research efforts coordinated by the AKCA.

i WAS REMINDED THIS MORNING AS I CHATTED WITH A FRIEND THAT OUT OF EVERY DARK CLOUD EVENTUALLY COMES A SILVER LINING.

I also feel bad that such a thing would have to fall on anyone let alone one of this board's favorite breeders.

But as others have expressed, it shows the breeder is up front and that the government regs/checks are working.....

I'm hopeful as the problem is worked out that no one takes the chicken little response and feels the sky is falling.Buy all your koi from dealers with a q-tank
and/or then put the koi into a q tank of your own. fire can burn or warm depending on how you handle it.Knowledge is a good thing....use it properly
and enjoy your koi!
