| We have learned many things at all the shows we attend and participate in. First all judges have there own style of judging. Second, never assume your fish will win just because it won at the previous show. Third buy a koi because you like it not because a dealer told you it was show quality and that it could win.. You might be very disappointed. Fourth and most importantly have fun with fellow hobbiest, the koi world is a small world of it's own. And everyone knows someone.. So always try to play fair and be humble.. Otherwise it could bite you in the butt when you least expect it.
