An Apology

This post goes out to all Koi Clubs and Hobbyists in the USA. Koiphen is having a Koi Show on Sept.9-10, 2006 at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville ,Tenn. We really wanted to be at this great hotel and to do that we only had choices of two weeks to use it. Both had conflicts but we finally had to except the September Weekend. We realize this is a conflict with other shows that may be close to this date or even on the same date. Maybe at future times if we do this again we may be able to move this date, but for 2006 we will have to be here.So I apologize for any inconveience. I think all these shows are good for the hobby and I wish all shows well. I am sure many local dealers will all support their local shows where there customers are located.
In my excitement for this event, I may have said things, in jubilation, that could be considered demeaning to these other clubs or people. If I offended anyone I am sorry for that. It was not meant in that context and I wish for all Shows for the benefit of the hobby to do well. For the particular Show that is on the same day, we have gone out of our way not to contact the dealers that normally go there. As far as all the other dealers in the country, I hope they will support as many shows as they can. The hobby needs your support. Please go to more shows.
So I hope many people will come to our show and go to many other shows as well. I hope there is room in the hobby for all of us and I wish all Koi Clubs continued success. Please post and advertise your other shows on our Koiphen Board at any time and we will see if we can get as many members of Koiphen to support your show as possible. We have members all over the USA and probably some of your own members already participate. A high percentage of our members belong to AKCA clubs.
