Mike, is that with or without the koi ? When they're happy and healthy, my life is bliss. When something goes awry, I lose sleep, peace of mind, patience, weight (a good thing, actually) - and usually a lot of $$$$, too. When they're happy, they're a de-stressor; when they're NOT happy - it's STRESS *BIG* time!

who knows ? But one thing for sure is that I will not get the excitement of sneaking new koi into my pond.

As for $$$, I would but 2 of the yellow crunker in tom's posting with the koi $.

I wouldn't have four year-old line on all my reels and would have more fish in the freezer than i would really want...and as soon as I figure out, and pay for the filtration I am gonna change the line on those reels....

I would be more rested. I would not be up at 4AM reading Koi boards. I would have missed out on meeting some really great friends. Probably would never have gotten to Hawaii (there is a really nice couple there that really no how to show you a good time) Thanks Mike.

There would definitely be a whole lot more money in the bank.

More importantly there would be a big void in my life with something missing. This is really a great hobby just enough trials a tribulations to make it worth while.
