Pick and predict how these Brady Showas changed

I posted this on the Koiphen board and would like any one over here's opinion as well.
Let's have some fun. Which of these Showas, if any, do you like and how do you think they changed (if at all) over the past year. I got these last Jan 19th. The first pics (in the slotted bowl) were taken by Brady 9.28.2004. The second were taken by me when they arrived.
I'll post their pics from today after you've had some time to comment.

I duno, but if i could take one home with me it would be koi #1 because I like the shiro and sumi and the pattern down the length of the koi. hi sumi, hi sumi and the way down the length of the koi and you can see a nice v pattern coming in the head. Then I would choose koi #5 the sumi coming in will give this koi a ballanced pattern later and I also sumi in tail and pec fins, and the hi is good and deep.

Cant wait to see what other say about the showa, if will be a thread I will watch close as I dont know much about picking good showa

#1 is a sanke, right? Yo uknow what I mean.
#2 is the best bet of being an evenly patterned Showa. it has enough red (too much actually, but the sumi will take care of that) and the beni will shrink, so a little shiro will go a long way.
#3 is gonna go to black..
And if it doesn't happen the way i said then this laptop (which I told Brady was a REAL time machine) might not be as good as I thought...but i bet it is right.

Gallagher, since they don't like #3 I will take that one. I think that one is the best out of all of them.

oops, 1st and 2nd koi same, 3rd and 4th same 5 and 6 same and I dont think it will go all black and I dont know nothing about showa. I dont see no underlaying sumi in the 3rd and 4th koi, I think it will lack pattern on one side.

I have to be honest, these Showas dont appeal to me...Each has faults with them, the first Showa more Kindai than the rest, has a red motoguro on the one pec. The other 2 have no odome and are more menaburi. If i had to pic one I would, pick the last Showa.

Aqui,
I am pretty sure these koi weren't picked from the "super-secret, extra-special, way back in the woods mud pond.
Yeah each of these "looks" like they have some current imperfections...but MOST ALL of us have to buy koi at this level and pray..and Showas are one of the better crap shoots as they change so much.
Yhis exercise is all about telling what you see these koi doing (and that was what was asked for) not whether they are worthy of the being displayed In the All Japan Show...or your pond....
now what do you see these koi looking like today?

Here they are. These pics were taken yesterday.
They all were 2yr olds (naisi I believe is the term) when I got them last yr.
Do you still like your original picks?
Jim
PS The second to the last Koi in the first post was a mistake and is not one of mine.
