Red face Brian...May need one more tweak

Brian:

Am getting the email notice that there's a reply to a thread I'm subscribed to...but when I click on the address, I get a "NOT FOUND" message saying the the URL address is not available...

This only started with this new site...

Aloha! Mike

I'm not an old fart (sorry Mike had to add that in) but eventually will be and am having problems with the left to right scrolling. If I use the higher resolution I can barely read the posts on my 17" monitor.
Hi Rob,

Most browsers will allow you to increase text size. Try pressing your Ctrl key and the "+" key at the same time and see if this works for you.

rgds,

Sorry to complain about what is, otherwise, an obvious improvement. I am having the same problem as RobR and the old fart. The choice is to either continuously scroll back and forth or change the screen resolution to something which is too small to read.

Hi Steve,

How about changing the screen resolution, and then increasing the text size in your browser? I suppose I could ask the design folks to create a special template for lower resolutions, but that will cost more.

Let's see if we can figure this out through your settings first. Any volunteers to help?

Screen text

Most often this will do the trick.

Stand in "desktop" - right click – “choose” properties – choose “settings” & advanced – change/increase “DPI setting”

This is from XP, I think 2000 and up are rather alike. Before you have to get the appropriate screen diver/software to get out max.

Oh good!! That works. Increase the screen resolution one notch to decrease the web page width, then increase the DPI a notch to get the font size back up. Thank you very much.

Not so fast Koinker:

Did as you said and all worked well, FOR KOI BITO, but everything else went to heck in a hand basket... Windows and fonts on other options like email and desk top are now too small...

Guess will just have to scroll back and forth which is not too user friendly...

Any other suggestions, am using Win98 software...

Aloha! Mike
