Good call. How about some good ideas for heating a 700 gallon Q tank?

I heat my 8' show tank which is about that size gallon-wise with an in-pond heater from Aquatic Eco Systems. It has a titanium sleeve in case I salt.

ThermaKoi Heaters

I have a thermaKoi heater I hooked up to my out door QT tank last year. It's a 6' show tank. The heater kicked a** all winter long. I was told it wouldn't do the job without coving and wrapping it. I got it up to 80 degrees without coving it or wrapping it in the winter. Once I wrapped it and covered it, the heater didn't have to work as hard. If you're planning on heat cycling the heater is killer. I'm guessing once it was covered and wrapped I could have brought the temp up well over 100 degrees with no problem (you never want to bring it up that high). The nice thing about it is, it keeps the temp real stable. I will be using it again this year and I always use it when I QT new koi.
