Down the gullet. Usually of a black bass, but sometimes in an alligator, a lot of times the cats get to share it. If big enough, perhaps one of the locals will take it home to feed thier family. My community is very "ethnically diverse". To some folks, a carp is a carp and carp are for dinner.
I got a ton of them, maybe I need to have a big "chuppa sale".

LOL! No kiddin Brett. We got two Jumbo gators at the back end of the farm that cut there teeth on chuppas.
How's about me and Doug load up a truckfull from over here and meet u over there in late November for one BA chuppa fry! Savannah and Roark can bring the chips and Margaritas.
you two can take all your chuppa fry and deep fry them so your "fried fry" will be "chuppa chips"....
We used to do that to buckets full of stunted bluegill/green sunfish (etc) "samplings we'd do when back at Auburn...the Koreans taught us that....'gill chips...deep-fried whole inch long bluegills...Quite taste...but don't think about that it is the WHOLE fish...and whatever they lil critter ate in the last 12 hrs.
I never tried bluegill or koi chips. However, in bars, dives and honky tonks here along the coast they serve fried silversides (ghost minnows) that are very good to eat once you get past the "I'm eating my bait" thing.
In Japan they eat "fathead minnow stew" made from black fathead minnows. I sent them thier start of them years and years ago as they only had the rosey reds which they would not eat.
My Japanese koi breeder friends eat more fish bait than anybody I know. Raw fish, squid, shrimp, even dojo loaches (a Japanese koi farm by-product) but there is one bait they absolutely won't eat for any reason. I took a Japanese koi breeder to dinner one night with an "All you can eat" crawfish special. He was appalled that we'd eat such a thing. I asked him if they had crawfish in Japan. "Of course" he said, but they live in the bottom of the pond and are not fit to eat. I ate my fill, sucked the heads, but couldn;t get him to put one in his mouth. Go figure.
I think this craw dad sucken the head thing started out as a dare at some LSU fraternity house and now has become a La tradition. I am with the Japanese on this one. I would rather eat my kohak than suck the entrails out of the head of some bottom dweller.
I can't see how suckin' cradaddy heads is any worse than eating mountain oysters. And while you're at it have you ever stopped to think what an egg is and where it came from ?
