Improvements you plan to do after winter?

Well its almost been a year.. Will you be doing any planning for remodeling to your existing pond? Or will you start from scratch again.. ????

I am planning on revamping my filtration with bigger filters and more bio. Re-design my water fall to some how contain media (like baki) without seeing it. And at the same time being able to de-gas. Also raising the pond another few feet up, and I'm thinking polyurea? Change my 3" pipes to 4" and my 1.5" to 2". Just waiting for the water temps to drop. Wouldn't it be a trip if vendors could sponsor your pond like a race car.

I've got lots of pond rework plans. Only time will tell how much I actually get done.

Ripping out the concrete built filters, just keeping the main Vortex. Will change this to static K1, then fit 2 x 4-tier double showers with BHM.

That should keep me busy for a few months!

Wanna add about 2000 gallons more to my pond. Add another settlement and change out drains to sugarloaf or sprin drifter depending on application. I gotta find me a good pond builder or just do it myself again. I also am going to add a bakki with BH media... Just want more surface area to the pond.. This will be it and the DW said go for it...

would like to drop the pump sizes from 1/4HP Sequence Self Primers (with lots of added backpressure from ball valve) to 1/8 or 1/6 HP Wave pumps to reduce the used power. Need to add in two 57w UVs before spring. Need to pergola the pond and filter pit. Need to put a shoji looking screen around the filter pit (out of plastic sheets). and in my spare time....

I need a permanent QT system to support larger fish. Where to put it? If I can figure that out, I'll be doing it.
