filter media...what do you use and why?

I'm kinda hoping for a soft used Answer market so I can play with the Big Boys and leave the 55g boys behind.

EA has recently said the Answer was for gravity fed applications and the EAzy for pump fed. When I got my Nexus the EAzy hadn't been developed. Well my filter is pump fed and the Answer simply didn't work very welll. My dealer tells me this is a common problem and that EA just didn't know how to aggress it until the EAzy came out. I think the water must move through an Answer slower than it can through an EAzy or something. Anyway I changed and am very happy. Mines as easy to clean as the Answer though does require more frequent attention. At least I don't have to take the EAzy apart. I've heard a lot of people like the Answer. I'm just not one of them

I'm using the EAzy on gravity fed Nexus. Works fine.

It should work fine , it's just a little harder to clean. If you asked EA they would recomend an Answer because you have a gravity system.
