Congrats again to our Pondhoppers! Better take real good care of that one for the next 4.5 months ... we'll see if you can repeat in the Maruyama grow-out judging in March.
Really, it was great to have some of the ZNA Southern Koi Association's most kichi come support our first effort to put on a show by ourselves. The show regulars are a pretty great group of folks. And having others drive fairly long distance to see what was happening was cool.
As for next year, at 4pm on Saturday, staring at the tanks still to be scrubbed & dried, I did not much care for the notion of a "second annual". Now that my back isn't aching, it's starting to sound pretty good. But first, gotta get to work on the 2006 Central Florida Koi Show ... the biggest annual show in the East (at least until the Koiphen show gets its first run.
