Earthquake in Japan this AM?

Just heard of there was an earthquake in japan this morning. Not so sure whether it was in niigata area or not. koinut, dunkel or any KB memebers went there, plz post the news.

Hey Dinh,

The only news I understand is from CNN, and they haven't said anything about it. I'll check with the crew later if they have any news. If there was one, I didn't feel anything.

Thanks Rob, seems like it was just a minor earthquake. Just don't want
you guys got stuck in the Niigata area like couple years back.

Yep...we felt it pretty good in Yokohama yesterday. Had the whole family under the kitchen table, but no damage, thankfully.

There were two quakes in Japan while we were there - the first supposedly in Tokyo on the 16th - the second was felt by several in our hotel (New Plaza) either on the 19th or 20th. Nothing major, just a roller to remind everyone and make them nervous.

You know it's funny when you sit at home and watch the Christian Channels saying the End of the World is near because of all these natural disaters happening...Makes me say not yet!!....Not until I go to Niigata baby!!! Then I can die a happy man...
