Hi Rod. My butt is getting numb and I'm heading for some caffeine. I won't be quitting my day job

Hi Tom,
I think we met at the Phoenix show a couple of years ago, when Waddy was there with Nigel. I need clarify some things about this quilt and the auction. Some of the money will be put back into quilting supplies for other projects and rest will go to the Trigeminal Neuralgia foundation for research of the disease. The original intentions were to make a check out to my wife and then she would buy supplies and then cut a check for the remainder the TN foundation.

Right now, she is quite estactic about the bidding and all of the nice words that are being said, they have been really encouraging for her. She really wants folks to buy the quilt because they like it and not out of pitty and doesn't want a picture painted of her as an old women on her death bed. That is not the case, but the disease is what it is and quite a thing to deal with.

We did not set any time limit for the auction as we didn't think things would take off as fast as they have. I would think that the auction should stay open for a few days to a week, but I am going to leave that up to the folks on Koiphen to decide since they have been so nice about getting this off the ground and pushing it along.

Rod that me!

Rod your right, it has to be bid on because of what it is. My mother in law makes beautiful quilts also. I know how much work gets put inot them. Bonnie did a very nice job with this one.

Cindy OK, you asked for it $950. Sorry Stephen it will look nicer in my house.

Oh baby. I would have kicked in the extra for the massage! LOL

Have a pepsi. Its midnight here but I'll stick around for a while. Taking the $950 over to bid.

Rod, tell Bonnie that if the quilt wasn't so gorgeous, the price wouldn't be where it is. That is beautiful and I am aware of the work that goes into to one.

I told Stephen you were at $950 and threw in a butt massage. Ball is in the other court at $1000.

I keep getting booted off if you wonder where I'm going. Did we lose Rod? Ruth - you still with us? I have a Ruth Rice wind sock hanging in my kitchen. It was too pretty to put outside. Another exceptional lady.

I think it would be nice if we got to find out how much work went into this quilt.

What a nice Xmas gift it will make.
