Then Koiczar taught us the Koi Happy Dance while Dunkel tries to push my husband into a pond...

Did Mike dance with the cigarette? I was told that smorking is not allowed near by the ponds worrying second hand smorking problem to koi;-))

Back in the days when I used to travel to japan with Peter Waddington,

his "dance" would be a staggerback in which he casually approached a newly bowled koi, clutched his chest, gave out a gasp and staggered back a bit!

what's wrong peter would be the response to which he'd reply " come take a look, it's a staggerback! "



so you'd amble over to the bowl and take a look and your eyes would bulge and your jaw would drop. and dog gone if you didn't staggerback...different time, different "dance' but same reason!

in short..."it's the joy of koi!"

The weather was unpredictable that day.. It actually rained that day...

last time I thought I was a tough guy was in Southern Japan at Ogata's..

I ended up getting really ill. I didnt chance it this time

Joe, looks like you invented a new dance - the staggerforward - comes from too much beeru the night before. Besides, to do a proper pole dance you have to grease the pole first -LOL

Actually that picture was taken as I was making the first performance of my new "KOI OPUS". You should have seen the fish react. That's what Jeff and Russ are laughing at. Who said I was doing the "Crane"?? LOL
