Showa just arrival.....

Folks,

see this Showa just arrival today from a local dealer.
What do you think? Any comments is greatly appreciated.

It leaves a beautiful impression. It looks like it has a bit of messy sashi, however that could be forgiven if it were a younger fish. The sumi looks fairly finished at this point though, although the motoguro is not quite even (but it's close). May I ask the age size and breeder? I must say that I would be very happy to own that specimen.

very nice koi.. Very close to being finished.. Good koi to show very soon.. The thing I would only pick out is to show some white near tail... Black makes the tail joint look very week.

Yes Joe. Missing the odome. But life is not perfect, so we can't expect perfect koi;-))

I offered but Mike haven't accepted it yet;-))

Heard of this showa came from the same parents of my showa that I purchased couple years back. Do you remember this showa that you saw it in Japan during the Japan trip you did with Don?
