Harvest at Toshio Sakai

Just got home from the harvest at Mr.Sakai's The fish were stunning as
as always. There were lots of people there so it was good to see old
friends. He had a great auction for everyone. Then it was off to Isawa for a few days then home. I was very pleased to see how my fish had improved
with just two months in the mud pond. I saw so many wonderful fish. My
toughest competion Bill Blackburn was there, so we had fun trying to see who
could get the best fish. Got some great Koi as some from his auction also.
Will try to get some pictures posted. Since Dan stayed home I got him a
killer Sanke so he would not feel left out !!!!!!!!!

dan got a killer sanke? I thought he was a showa man! Next you be showing us pictures of your newest kohaku! ( she's not a big kohaku fan!) must be something in the green tea that toshio serves just before and during the auction!

so, Sharon.. you didn't say if Bill purchased anything that can be used against you in a court of koi. If you need a character witness, i'll tell the koi judge your a character!
(LOL)

take good care of that pink jacket of yours. the one I always see you in at the harvest pictures. Someday we'll want to have that on display in the koi hall of fame. Maybe some white boots as well......

Dick, Bill got a nice Goshiki at the auction and a Sanke I think. I showed
him Dan's Sanke and he got pale and almost fainted !!! The auction was fun
got some killer fish. One 27" Sanke which will be coming home.

I have 2 Showas and a Sanke to stay there for at least 2 more years. The
three new style Sanke's that Gene,Dotti and myself got last year look
wonderful and will be coming home soon. Also a Ki-Showa ? (at the auction)
Will bring pictures so we can look at them on the plane ride to Quality Koi
we are looking forward to seeing everyone.. See you tommrow.

should be a fun trip! hope the weather co-operates and doesn't get too cold!
Don't want our koi coming out of the pond freezing their little fins off. maybe you could knit something in the way of a little warmer for them.

Mike, we won't tell them about where you koi is going, or they'll all want to go home to florida! Least for the winter
