i got my first impression of Hasegawa from `nishikigoi the movie`

yellow heads everywhere

quite an old movie now so perhaps he has moved on but after seeing that film i couldnt help but think Hasegawa`s speciality was YELLOW heads....YUCK!!!
the koi in your picture are nice though still hardly the cleanest heads ive seen by a long shot, i guess i was spoiled by Ogawa...king of white .

kevan.

Yellows heads must have been because the movie you watched was on VHS ....Ogawa King of White(Shiroji), but haven't seen much of his fish in Japan Shows lately....

As far as I'm concerned, Dainichi will remain in a class by themselves.

The others are copycats.

Cool Yellow Heads ain't no thing!

If you saw a tub of yellow heads you were probably looking at a bowl of males. Though not as nice as his females, they tend to clean up after time.
