Japan trip on the right track..

Many of you know I just came back from Recent trip from Japan. The trip could have not started out any better. As Kevin I and Larry were looking for a place to sit near our gate. I noticed a familiar face. It was 5 seconds later I recall this familiar face. I had just went to a Bonsai Seminar and watched this young master do his thing with Bonsai. WHat stroke of luck I would say... Who is he????

Shinji Suzuki and his Helper Isaw (sp?)

(kokofu Ten Award winner, Prime Minister's Award 3 times. Bonsai Creator's Exhibition Winner) All the highest prestiges for Bonsai.. I guess its winning the All Japan Shinkokai 3 times and then some.

The Bonsai I am posting are at Sakuma koi farms. I just threw those in for Bonsai lovers and to relate it to koi...

I have a story that isn't bonsai or koi related, but I did meet a movie star. I was standing outside of the international departure at SFO. There was this guy probably 5'8" or so wearing a pea coat. For some dumb reason I was like what the hell are you standing so close to me for, the guy turned around and I was like damn your the "Dragon"...Jason Scott Lee was like yes I am, but out of respect to Bruce, I am just an actor playing him in a movie. People you see at the airport...Joe welcome back!!!
