There are different color variations of asagi.

narumi is a lighter blue and wider net pattern.

konjo/gunjo tend to be darker blue and thinner white net pattern

there were other varieties in the past not seen so much any more

including

taki (waterfall) asagi with a big white stripe down the side dividing the red bottom and blue back

also now a new variety is coming into prominence called reverse

which has the scale whitish instead of blue and the net pattern blue instead of white

narumi is my favorite and very popular in the show circuit

never seen any Asagi with completely clean head like that......

No wonder why Joe has to go to Japan each year.......

Here are a couple more Hosokai Sansai...

PS - Hey, Keo Koi, I like the red 'Doors' T-Shirt Tadashi is wearing. It's from original poster art from a show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 1969.

Talking Fall Shipment
Beginning of next week... Lots of pictures to take and paperwork to do that day! Quarantine and heating, and then they'll be good to go!
