do you have any fact to back up with your claim of " This is where KHV propogates!! " ? how did you come up with such of conclusion from looking at the picture? KHV is a serious matter and you shouldn't blalantly making false accussation.

Tom C,

Yes, I had so much fun. It took us more than 3 hours to complete the koi harvest, and we only harvested less than half of the mud pond.

nice pictures,

what i find interesting is that the koi breeders the world over outside of Japan are producing better and better koi, i feel it wont be long before we see some really serious non japanese jumbo koi...perhaps there are already...anyone?

Koi-san,

The hi in some of those gosanke seem to have a magenta tinge to them. In particular the large kohaku in the center of your last picture. Is that just an effect or your camera or does the hi actually appear that way?

Thanks,
Dan

And, did you get any?

Kevan,

I had the same thought when I was helping out the koi harvest. I saw quite a number jumpo tosais reached up to 40cm out of the mud pond.

dcny,

You are right. I noticed a few mature Kohakus in that display pond seems to have a bit pinkish of hi, but not as pink as you saw on the picture.
