| Got a question about Elbagin -
Actually, I have several . . .
Elbagin is the Japanese "wonder drug", a waterborne antibiotic/antiseptic that kills gram neg (and pos) bacteria without hitting the biobugs too hard in the filter (as opposed to Tetracyline, which will decimate a filter!). So, if you have a fish that has a few dings and bruises, incipient ulcers, etc., spending a few days in a nice warm Elbagin bath is a good thing. Yes?
So, what's the protocol? How many grams per gals/tons of water? How long before a water change? Does salt help?
If you can't get your hands on Elbagin, what's the next best thing that *can* be had: Acriflavin? Furazone Green? Proflavin Hemisulfate?
TALK to me, please . . .
