One of my friend in PA did a small scale breeding with his koi (?). This is a small sample of course. What do you all think? Any future in koi breeding for my friend?

Do you have any pictures with blue bowls? It is very hard to view small koi in black bowls ---

part of the learning curve of breeding is keeping access to the young. Either in your own facility or with a trusted client that you can monitor the results. You can't always judge how something will develop in 3 or 4 years at the stage we're looking at.

Knowledge is king in this hobby and just for learning sake they should hang on to the different beni types ( forget pattern) and learn what turns out after years
of rearing.
