Question Accidental Tosai Photos

This past spring we had 2 unplanned spawns and kept a few to grow out as a learning experience. Give me your feedback as to quality and variety as a few of them are in doubt.
I apologize in advance for some of the photo's not being the best, but the little buggers aren't exactly good at posing .
FYI, they are all in the 3-4" size range. The larger (5-7") Yamabuki and Paruchina's are still in the main pond with their parents.

And luke you better not come in here and say every variety under the sun. Just name the types. I really would like to know what types the koi are in pic 6,7 and 8.

Something I forgot to mention in the first post is that the Sanke on the right has clear white pectorals which don't even show up in the picture.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out too. The sumi on the forehead is a recent development so I've considered them Sanke since they were small, but time changes things in unexpected ways. They are becoming an interesting twist on my learning curve. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if the one on the right turned out to be a nice old style showa as they are among my favorites.

Antonio said "stick with Kohakus...", so you should stick with the old style showa in the #4 ;-)) Don't forget to post it again in the next few months...

Only someone who successfully breeds and culls koi is qualified to evaluate these particular tosai, but common sense says that the flock-spawned offspring of speckled pond fish should grow up to look much the same as their parents.

That does not mean, however, that you can't enjoy the journey and learn much along the way. Have fun, Don

Mostly crapagoi and shitegoi.
of the two "showa, only the one with more orange is worth feeding.
BUT THE KEEPER IS THE KOHAKU THAT IS IN THE MIDDLE ON THE RIGHT OF THE PIC OF THE FOUR.....That fish will let you learn abunch and may be a very good patterned fish when large.
the one below it....did someone try to sembetsu it and miss? those gills look flared more than just a normal amount.
