Thanks Tony for starting this thread. I normally want to work in the background to get some solid foundation before making any public announcement. Perhaps it is about time since you already started the thread.

I have been working with Mr. Ron Goforth, United State District Chairman for ZNA in the last few months for forming an ZNA Friendship Chapter here in Northern California. As same as other chapter or clubs, ZNA has it own rules and requirements for forming a Firendship Chapter and there are number of steps need to be done before finalize a chapter.

The first set of requirements for forming the NorCal ZNA Friendsip Chapter has been met. Mr. Goforth has gave me a signal to start the next step as part of the process. Mainly, we need to call a meeting with all the members that I have listed as part of the original members of the chapter to select the "officiers" for the chapter which including the President, Treasuer, VP, secretary etc... to submit to the district/head quarter....

I was thinking of calling a meeting some time before Xmas to discuss about this and perhaps it is a good time to have Xmas party for koi buddies in the NorCal area as well.

Could someone explain what the zna is and what it requires. Some of us newbies jsut got the hang of raisng kois.

Well, I am not a ZNA member, but this club is worldwide. This club contains different level hobbyist. Like the AKCA, the ZNA promotes the koi hobby. ZNA is more focused on the fish, where the AKCA is both watergarden and koi.

Dinh, you have alot of people who are interested in joining a NorCal ZNA Chapter. Maybe you'll get more than the least amount to create a friendship club.
