Fractional Axial flow pump and the Aquaculture Industry is....

Yep I got some hopeful emails that there is a move afoot to develop a fractional axial flow pump for the Aquaculture Applications (and the Koi hobbyist).
It won't be like the FOK pumps. It will be an more like a mixed flow axial pump...with a real bulb stucture that is engineered/married to a particular engineered prop with appropriate vanes ....and will kick (m)ass water...
With this pump manufacturer, an intial inquiry came from me but now companies with the money are inquiring ....so they are going to see what they can work up.

happy happy joy joy

MikeM,
You know I'd tell ya if I could, but This company wants to make sure they have it RIGHT before they let the first bit out into the genral population. They understand how one bit of bad press ( right lim) goes a looong way. So these guys are going to make sure it is all tied up with a pretty bow BEFORE they let anything get out.

I'll give them your address...HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA like they will go to Iowa and set it up? and then come by regular and check on it...while I live 500 yds from one of the better "tanning" beaches in FL and am only an hour from them....
But I promise I'll pass along your offer.....

They aint gotta come here, just UPS it to me and I'll do the rest.
I can have it into production next week.

this group wants to install it too....so they have control over its performance if an issue presents itself.....so I wouldn't have to do a thing.

Ask them about a 6000gph at 3ft pump. A 10,000 a 15,000 and a 30,000. that should take care of most normal koi ponds. The bigger ones will need a 60,000 to keep the same waterflow over sq in of media Maeda recommends.

By the way Luke, there is still a better and more economic way. I have not seen it used in anything as small as a koi pond though. Not really sure why, it should scale down just fine. Tell your buddies for $10k I will tell them what it is.
