Is that a homemaid spawning cage? I have thought about making me one out of 4 inch pvc around the top of cage, thinking that will work, we have a turtle trap that is made this way and it works great to catch turtles and it stays a float. How deep is the spawning cage? Also how big?

yes kfg, homemade. it last eyars in the sun too.

just get some of the material and use uv stable plastic cable ties. these are done with copper wire though and some electrical cables.

on the inside lip there is wood that supports the shape and some floats to hold it up. theyre a good idea.



size.. i guess about 1.3m square by about 1m deep. mesh is only about 25mm.
