Welcome

It's nice to see a newbie like you TOR! Welcome on board!

Could you tell us your water parameters and temperature? Is that still 80F winter water temperature in Thailand?

Your kuchibeni kohaku is a knockout/high quality fish. Maybe we all go to Thailand for a fish hunting trip instead of Japan?

Thank You Khun Ma Le (mynamy1) For Your Welcome.
As Your Question, I Don't Khow For A Parameter. I Ever Test For The Ph Of The Water. The Ph Is About 7.2, I Use Water That Came From The Tap Ithink It Ok For Our Koi And The Temperatureis About 25-28 C Degree. I Alway Clean The Filter Pond 1 Time Per Month But The First Pond Of The Filter Pond I Clean 1 Time A Week. The Waste Of Koi,that Has In The First Filter Pond I Alway Pumpout Everyday I Will Waste The Water About 200 Litre In One Time Then I Will Refill The New Water Back To The Koi Pond As The Qty Of That Level. So , My Thinking If We Can Maintain The Water In Good Condition All Time, It Will Make Good Health For Our Koi.i Beleive That.

For The Kuckibeni Kohaku, I Get It From My Older Friend, He Is A Owner Of Koi Farm In Thailand. His Name Is Mr.panu Or His Nickname Is Bear Bangsai. He Is A Good And Kind Mind. Every Koi In My Pond I Get From Him.
This Kohaku, I Send Into Tkc Koi Show In March'05 And It Get A Small Tofy And That Is My First Time For Me To Send The Koi In Koi Show. It Make Me Very Proud.i Have To Say Thank You To My Friend That Give Me For The Opportunity. I Send My Koi Into The Fighting In Size1 18 Cm. Ok This Is My Story. If You Have A Chance To Come Thailand, Contact Me I Beleive In Thailand We Also Have The Good Quality Koi For Every Koi Lover.

Thank You

Tor

Smile www.fancycarp.com

Hello Tor,

I checked out www.fancycarp.com. It looks like an interseting site, and I would be interested to learn more about what's going on in Thailand, but unfortunately I can't read the language!

I played a while, but couldn't work out if one of the buttons takes you to an English translation? Is there a translation?

Thanks,

Roger

PS I like the koi swimming round the coffee cups on the site banner!

Welcome to the forum Just a little something that may help make your typing a little easy.

You Dont Have To Put a Capital Letter At Beginning Of Each Word--(Wrong)
You dont have to put a capital letter at the beginning of each word.-(Right)

Just at the beginning of each sentence. If you dont want to change it is ok as we can understand you. Just thought you might like to know

1 metric ton = 264.34 US Gallons
= 220.46 UK Gallons
= 1000 Liters

A pond 1 meter deep (3feet) x 10' x 30' is 6660 US gallons or about 24 tons.

I love Central Oregon, Nothing like Flyfishing the Metolius, crooked and many more. Gotta love Smith Rocks as well. My old Playground..
