I know i've told this story before, but in case you missed it or are a new poster i think it has some value to repeat.

About a decade or so ago in the great northwest a burger chain had an incident with e coli that affected a child patron. It was a heart wrenching story that was largely followed in the press and everyone gave odds that the company would go out of business. Let's race fast forward....the company hung on and increased it's diligence on food preparation until it was acknowledged by the government inspection/testing agencies that they ranked #1 on all the inspections and consumer confidence began to rebound. Common conversation was that this was the last place that would ever have problems again. fast forward again. this chain is very sucessful now and leads most other chains with innovation and consumer confidance.

i tell this story so that people will give this breeder and his efforts to rebound an opportunity (fairly) to do so....

imho their integrity will pay off in the end wiht consumer confidence. it is the ones who may problems that are quiet that I worry about. At least I know if thye sell me a koi it is going to be khv free. Don't really know of too many breeders I can confidently say that about. Great news guys! Keep up the good work!

Dick and George, I couldn't agree with you more.

The way Maeda san and his team have handled this crisis has given me great confidence and demands the highest respect from all of us. I, for one, will not hesitate to buy a Momotaro koi in the future.
