Ogawa Kohaku

She is about 21 plus inches long, female and breed by the Ogawa Koi Farm. Yes Ray, I bought her from Genki koi last spring.

Here are a few more resent shots of her.

Very nice shiroji...One problem with anything Ogawa is they tend to grow slow, but they do maintain the quality very very good... Last time I saw this fish was when it came in at Genki.

Bob has an excellent pond/filter system for allowing koi to develop to their potential. He also hasn't overstocked hsi system - yet!

Ogawa Kohaku

I have been very happy with how she has developed. I do not know her true size, she was 21" when I bought her. I introduced her to my pond in April 14, 2006. Even with our hard water and high PH 8.5 to 9.0 in San Antonio, I feel her beni has matured well. She has a ways to go. I will show her for the first time locally next fall if all goes well.

As Ray has mentioned I have 10 koi now that range in size form 12" to 28". I plan on adding a few more tategoi koi and taking a few starter koi out.

Here are a few more photo's of my favorite koi. The Omosako Shiro is a female and 28" long. The kin ki utsuri is a female about 23 plus inches long.
