koi-bito auction fish

Probably a mistake? Kerin has listed some nice fish with only a couple hours for the auction term. There are going to be some steals if no one bids soon.

I placed bids on all of them...then, they pulled all the auctions and started over. Definitely not right!!

Yeah, they changed the ending date to 12/17. Why post an auction with an end date and then change it-could it be because nobody was bidding and they didn't want to let the fish go for cheap?

Sorry Carl, don't mean to get on your case, but an explanation is in order - don't you think???

a mistake?

probably a typo when creating the auction. honest mistake I am sure. BUT, they should probably honor them just the same. I dunno, read their user agreement, does it say they have a right to pull an auction for any reason?

Thumbs down

I will stick with japankoionline for auctions. At least they don't pull auctions after bidding has begun!!!

Folks,

Why don't we give Carl a break here? One of his employees posted the auctions and made the simple and honest mistake of not setting the end date correctly.

I've just gotten off the phone with Carl and they've made the needed corrections, and the auctions will now run through the intended term. If you were bidding before, then why not simply repeat your bid now? Surely you don't want to capitalize on someone's honest mistake now do you?

So what you're saying is, rather than support one of the American dealers who supports the koi-bito board, you wanted to screw them over due to a simple mistake, and now you're going to refuse them your business because you didn't get the opportunity to screw them.

Now THIS is one for an "ethics thread"

Why does it got to be a "American" dealer comment? Is it because he is "Japanese", If you sell from the states I think your an American dealer ...now that comment should be on the ethics thread too...
