Nice fish - a male I am presuming base on body conformation. The pattern is very nice - one thing that bothers me,if you are looking to show this fish, is the last bit of beni that crawls up the base of the tail. That may recede in the future if it can be grown out. If just for your enjoyment - nice fish!!

It looks male. The Kohaku pattern is placed very good...Here we go with the Kohaku pattern thing all of you might say again, but it is true...The first thing going into looking at koi is the conformation. Big pecs and narrow body means male.

The sumi is small but thick in some places. As far as the placing of the sumi, it is elegant and not very over powering.

For show purposes, I think it will do good. Sumi needs to come up a bit more and so does the girth. Overall nice Male Sanke.

Nicely distributed Sumi. Wish I could tell the quality of the Hi from the photo. Pattern reminds me of a Hosakai female Kohaku on sale at one of the dealers who advertise on this board, but I do not recall which it was. (I do not think Hosakai is producing Sanke.)... I like the pattern very much. If this is a female with quality Beni, the price would be quite high, I think.
