You can buy the bulb from SOS light bulb. Their website is
http://www.soslightbulbs.com/search.php?substring=G55T8

The bulb you need to buy is G55T8, if I remember correctly. It is $32.90.

My main concern with this unit, however, is it appears to be designed to connect directly to flex tubing. I'm using PVC where I'd like to put it before my waterfall so I'm not sure if this one would work. I'm trying to make everything as simple as possible... - Joseph

Well, amigos, I'm back. I ordered my UV from Ebay last night. It should arrive sometime next week. I picked up a 55-watt Laguna UV for our 2,500 gallon koi pond and a 25-watt Laguna UV for our 800 gallon turtle/goldfish pond. I'll post pics once I get everything set up...

I prefer Aqua UltraViolet Units
We've had great experiences with the Aqua UV lights. And their customer support and warranty is the best we've come across.

I would simply say you are better off with a slighlty larger on then a small one!
