Luke: Absolutely correct. The clay needed for pottery has to fall within a comparatively narrow range. On the other hand, the clay used to lubricate/cool drilling bits for oil & gas wells or to make kitty litter does not have to be so exact. (I've seen it estimated that there over 90 million cats using litterboxes in the USA. Imagine how much clay gets mined just for them! LOL... our koi are a very minor market.)

Tony, if Super Clean has clay in it, why the additional clay? I understand and appreciate the cleansing of the liver, although I was unaware that clay would assist in that process.

Question

So are we saying that pottery clay is ok to use in koi/fish ponds????
