Is that really "Doitsu Kin Ochiba" on the auction site? Just interesting to know....

This is an international forum --- I don't think there was such East or West coast concept in their mind when placing them up for auction...

I think it will take a while to find the right price range for this board. The Isa Showa males went for very reasonable and low prices. Here we have a wide selection of varieties.

As to the Doitsu Gin Ochiba, the photo looks like a Doitsu Hariwake to me. The ground seems to be very silver to my eye, not the pewter of a Nezu Ogon. If it did darken to a pewter gray, it would be quite the unusual one.
