I sdont believe in using UV, if you need more biological filtration get it. UV lights put a bandaid on the real issue. It is like adding chemicals, ok for an emergency, but not the real long term solution. I do not understand how folks can afford a UV light but not more filtration and bigger pumps???I think lava rock is a few bucks for a 50lb bag in home depot or walmart.
