Word of the day...Forgiveness

We bring God into the mix and we should fear no one but God. Being born again I believe everyone will be given a second chance at whatever they fail at. I know God sees things through for all of us.

I pray that all are safe on this coming day of our Lords birth and for the New Year.

Forgiveness is a very strong word if you ask me. I think you ment to use the word respect.

I am more than willing to forgive and eventually respect people that have consistently lied and distorted the truth and attempted to ruin people, and has assumed others' identities on the net, and posted badly when they had so disgrace them, and refuse to accept their plight as not bieing as smart as a normal person, nor having any backbone, or ethics, and deals with others by using their position and money instead of working out what is right.
But i have very close association with such a person, and that person would have to tell me what he did, and say that he was wrong, and that he really didn't want to be that nasty or evil a person, and that he realizes that the power he has is a power he is uncapable of using for the good of the hobby. But instead he uses his money to try and advance his position in the hobby.
That is all i need to hear, plain and simple. Right here. Just once.
We could wipe the slate clean. I'd even respect him if he did that.
but I have seen him try to apologize, and he never really does. And hed has never tried to change.
And if he'd just say he was going to try and change his terrible behavior of berating people by lying, or stating lies in general...I'd be glad to forgive. And if he acted appropriately for a few months I might even start to forget how he didn't care about anyone else or the hobby, but he cared only about himself.
If he can come in here and just tell the world what a bad boy he has been to us all....many don't even know how they were affected by his Lying and deceit to achieve status.
The Avatar I have at newt's was put there by the people that run newt's, because I consistently defended the person that needs to come clean, ask forgiveness, and turn a new leaf. After a year or so of me knowing I was wrong, they were going to take it off my posts. I told them as wrong as I was they needed to leave it there as I had not been castigated long enough for my misplaced loyalty. Now everyone there has forgiven me for my poor judgement of human character...it has been a couple of years...let's see him behave for half that time
Should the person change I can remove that avatar.
