sigh........45 degrees C. only fun thing is sticking my frozen hands on people who come outside and bother me about why I've got my arms in the pond. (you could used to it once the blood stops circulating )

At 7am the pond was just a little below 60F, but not down to 59F. Took off this afternoon and did my weekly maintence and water change. At 5pm the water temp was 62F, in part because the tap water is warmer than the pond.

38F and damn cold under the ice and snow. Inside pond is a chilly 58, no sunshine in the greenhouse to help heat it. Rain for the next week so the ice outside will melt and the temps inside will continue to drop.

The pond water is 41 F right now, but has been down to 36 a month ago.

Koi are in a heated winterpond at 62 F.

Today, at 9:30 am the Qtank was 56.7 and the main pond was a blistering 58.6. I asy that because last Saturday they were 46.2 and 46.6 respectively. They're all acting like it's summer. I threw some food in and immediately got a wet welcome from several who were out of the water after it!!

Happy Holidays to All!
