How Money relates to length...in GOSANKE

I didn't want to step into Aquitori's thread...but It got me thinking.....bigger koi cost more provided the quality stays the same...now I don't want tangents of "changes in body shape" or "maturation of color" or "growing into or out of a pattern".... just serious known prices on the gosankes of various sizes and quality...


(Please do what I did if a thought hits you that ain't in a straight line or specifically about price to length in similar quality fish. Start another thread...)

Now work with Four grades of "finished" koi and only from 15 inches all the way up.
Here are the four grades.

1 "recognizable examples" ... it is a kohaku but tancho spot should be at the front not the back
2 "High grade pond fish" .... if it weren't for that one red whisker it would have been a killer Shiro Utsuri
3. "Show Fish" ....an acceptable show fish with a couple of minor flaws
4. "Winners" ...of something more than a local show

If you can show pics and prices all the better but seriously try and give prices for deals you know of.
