The Breeder Maruchiku Gyoen
Does anyone know of the Yorijo Maruchiku Gyoen...Breeder name: Kenji Konishi.
He is famous for Maruchiku Kohaks...Wanted to some research on this breeder.

If not mistaken one of Manabu Ogata's pals. He Judged Eastern Nishikigoi show along sie with Ogata and Andy Moo. So I think he is located in Fukuoka.. Thats all I know

In Hiroshima. Koidoc, Tony Prew, Joel, know Konishi. Very well known breeder. Great facilities. Went to school with Omosako.

Met Konishi-san back in 1973. He was here with Dr Kuroki to judge a koi show held at a mall in Hayward. Of course, he just happened to bring a customer's 12" showa (rumored the customer paid $7500 at that time for it) with him. Gee, somehow the fish took GC!! Who said there's no politics in koi shows!!??LOL

The breeder in Hiroshima is Joji Konishi. Don't know if his father is Kenji.

Kenji is the one who was here in 1973, and yes the farm is in Hiroshima.
