Got the issue the other day and was glad and disappointed. This issue was about the 2005 All-Japan, what was funny was that the Brits came out with a video before this issue came out. So in point, timing is very important when it comes to magazine and print work. Focus is always on the present and hardly ever in the past. Maybe it is time of a Koi-Bito online magazine? Less problems with printers...IMHO

so rick...do you agree with john that it's time for an online magazine? or did the fact the pictures of a show were late not bother you at all?

maybe the online mag has the current pics while the print has more the interviews and articles?

Cool

Patiently waiting in Saint Louis......
(Especially for the asagi issue!)

Online publication is wonderful for scientific journals, but I like being able to thumb through the photos. Print magazines can be taken to a club meeting, to better infect other members, or given as raffle prizes. I also subscribe to KoiFixx, and enjoy the DVD format, but a print magazine fills a different niche (IMHO).

I'm a reforming packrat, so have been going through my magazine collections in an attempt to reduce clutter. I have two early issues of KB and am keeping all my issues of NI, but the KoiUSA need to find a new home.

Yeah, I'm still waiting in Northern California too!! Spoke to Brian at the show (rather I gave him a bad time about it at the booth that was selling KB#10 and all past issues). Having worked for the US Postal Service for 36 yrs I told him to contact me about shipping delays and where they may be occurring. Maybe we can put a stop to this nonsense!!LOL

Got my issue #10 and truly enjoyed it. I find I go back to all of the back issues from time to time. Koi Bito has a place in my koi literature library. #11 will no doubt have significant coverage of the AJS from January, even though we have all been treated to a wonderful number of photos on this site.

It is very weird, though, that with airmail arriving in every country every day, that we do not all get our issues within the same week.
