Thumbs up Good news from Momotaro

Below is a message from Daisuke Maeda:
------------------------------------------------------

We have really good news today.
As I told you that our final test finish on 19th of December and got the result on 20th.

And today the Government were here then told us that they confirm we don't have any more KHV at all of our green house. Then they told us that we can start selling koi and sending koi from Today.

For the kois in mudpond that we will harvest them in March then use one green house to keep these koi and keep the water temperature around 20 degrees then test with KHV free koi for 3 weeks. Until that we can touch these koi but all of the koi in green house now is OK.

Thank you very much to supporting us and worry about us for long time.
Now we can start again and we will try hard to be real come back very soon.

Thank you very much.

We are looking forward to see you again.

Best regards,

Daisuke Maeda

That truly is very good news! That means team Momotaro will then be able to show at the greatest koi show on earth! Very well done. I'm sure they will be bouncing back very fast.

Great news !!!

Perhaps, Momotaro should first start placing Momo koi on www.thekoiauction.com - I'm sure many KB members will be happy to bid to support Momotaro....

Also, I hope Momotaro will make a great contribution to fight KHV. And perhaps to lead all breeders in the Japan to support KHV research project as well.

Great news indeed! Thankfully all the koi in the greenhouse are KHV free, hopefully the koi still outside will be clean as well.

(Just wondering how cold the water outside will get at Momotaro this winter?)

Ah, Jungle: Just bid on the Sanke posted now. Wonder how many folks are poised to bid 30 seconds before it ends?

Would if I could touch that price right now. Hopefully soon it will be no problem, this should be my year, everything is falling into place.

I really want a female kohaku anyway, sanke are my second favorite, but a nice red and white kohaku just does something to make me smile. I like them too much to waste money on another setup for koi with black in them. I will leave that for Brady, the showa man.

I'am not sure why I have this feeling (I don't know you) but I think you may be in line to do some serious bidding come Fri. night!
