Talking High tec filtration

Here is the most high tec filtration I have ever seen, this adress has been found in a belgium koļ forum, a lot of picture and some words in french that you won't need to understand to apreciate the work.
Some threads were asking what will be your project for next year, here are some ideas. (NB: page suivante down right the page, meens next page )

I think that will please Scott...maybe he knows the owner?

What I would give to be able to read this. Wonder how many people will go to that much expense to maintain a koi pond like that. Makes me think of a water purificantion plant. Man! I can even fathom what he paid for a set up like that.

Thumbs up Use google to translate the page.

That is what I did. It's pretty interesting. I do not agree with all of the filtration methods used, but the controls and layout is beyond anything I could ever fathom working with.

Nothing wrong with linking to another site as long as you are not promoting it.
Marco I don't know the place in question but I had a look anyway.

It seems to be pretty standard biofiltration except it's on a grand scale and fully automated. The one thing that did catch my eye is the fact that he seems to be reducing his hardness by addition of Hydrochloric acid and pure O2.
His DH seems to be around 2 or less . This is pretty knife edge stuff.

I find this exciting! The installation of this set up excites me . What a system. Does any one else run Redox?

Man, try selling this to your customer!! We'd really be out of work and no one would be in the hobby if this is what it took to run a high quality pond!

It's impressive from an engineering standpoint, but I sure wouldn't want to install this system. I probably wouldn't be able to figure out how the whole darn thing works.

I could see this for the hobbyist who has EVERYTHING and wants the "Idon't want to get my hands wet" system. But then, wouldn't you want high class koi in the pond? I didn't see much quality in the pond to justify the cost of that system!

Yeah the tancho that directs you to the next page has the worst conformation of any cartoon koi I have ever seen!.

He's had some excellent tradesmen in there as well....you see how beautiful the pipes are cut, placed, and glued.....!

My Father's sailboat ain't that "stowed away."
