It sure is nice to see the topic get discussed and not the politics. With that said, you need lots more money. Our club has donated a large sum of money toward this issue. I'm also aware that other clubs have too. Where are the rest of you? Another couple hundred thousand and perhaps a solution will become available. Are any dealers or breeders in on this? I believe that the whole koi community needs to get it together or we may see the end of our hobby.

I try mike I try....my original intent was to give the Foundation a chance to let a bunch of koi people in on the WORK being done on the money.
the Foundation was over-selling the method used to disburse the funds and it was sounding like NOTHING was being done....Now we know....
And IMNSHO Bekko has nailed the head here.....the foundation will not have adequate money to finance a whole concept but could be valuable to the total body of work being generated by stepping in with funds when a research team needs a little Financial help at that moment....Initial that sounds like a tough place to try and be but getting the word out, with the understanding that the foundation is interested in all the KHV work and should be kept up to date so that if a research project hits a financial bump the Foundation could step in and get them over it
