New Year Resolutions

Reflecting on 2005, this photo should be entitled “to buy or not to buy” – Dick Benbow must be pondering that thought as he and JR watched the koi come out of the mud ponds at Quality Koi’s harvest 2005.

behind JR ( the photographer) is a good shot of Henry Cullpeper (left). He put his name on a tategoi tosai showa destined to the mud ponds this spring.

I quess my resolution is to return next fall to Quality Koi to see how my sanke and Kohaku did in the mud and to visit with old friends and make new ones.

I'm hopeful Tony and Arthur will have their mud ponds up and running this year
so that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy a mudpond near them! (LOL)

It might not be the same experience as in japan, but it beats by a country mile
not having the joy and anticipation of how your koi is doing during the growing season.

Thumbs up

I usually think these resolutions are stupid. This year is different. My father had a heart attack on new years eve. We were very unsure if he was going to make it. Today, they put two new stents in his heart and he is doing very well. My new years resolution is clear after this ordeal. To be thankful for the things I have, and not to dwell on the things I want or do not have!!! Happy new year everyone!!!

Wow Brutuscz, that would tend to make you look at things a little differently. Life is precious. Hope everything goes well for him.
