Since we're showing Ogata showa...my 16 inch young lady. Purchased at champion koi....named Festivus...in honor of the holiday
On the left..when they had her...on the right, how she looks now.

I almost forgot to mention the body (duhhh). She has really thickened up well. Very full odome.
Thanks Larry.The only thing that i think will not be as good will be her size.Dont think she will grow over 75cm though .

Would love to see how Nancy M's showa though.She have a very high class showa from Ogata as I remembered.

Hi koimann
Your showa is looking really nice, body is oustanding, sumi coming up nice.. I look forward to seeing pics again next year. I am sorry, but I dont want to pull up any of our fish for pics right now, as they will be coming ouy of the pond in March. But I did take a few pics of them back in December here is the link to the thread.

I got a couple of Ogata's showa's too! This one I got from Champ at the start of last season I think, at about 12". It's probably about 17 or 18" now. Lot more sumi coming up.
Just starting to keep fish long enough to see changes?

My computer caught a bug so I lost all my pics taken from back then, this was the only photo of the fish when I first got it.
