I think Im learning

because the study showa of before and after is what I would have looked for in a young showa because the under lying sumi will come up. I did not know about the one spot of deep sumi and glad to know that. What has the bold mark of sumi got to do with the other sumi that is still coming up? I would look for a showa with a lot of hi so when the sumi does come up maybe it wont overpower the showa.
By the way this is a good study pic of the same koi. And I love how the one has developed so far. Now my other question is the kaga that is on one side of the koi will it develop into solid sumi like the rest or will it stay the same. I dont really understand how kaga sumi develops. Im thinking that it will stay speckled and just get deeper in color
